Thrilling moments, a fantastic atmosphere and outstanding performances: in front of 41,000 spectators, the ISTAF once again thrilled the crowd at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium. No fewer than five German athletes claimed victory: Leo Neugebauer, Julian Weber, Gesa Krause, as well as Emil Agyekum and Gina Lückenkemper in the German 4×100-metre mixed relay. Chase Jackson provided another highlight: the US shot putter not only set a US record with a throw of 21.02 metres, but also wiped the 42-year-old ISTAF meeting record held by Helena Fibingerová from the record books.
